Musical Interlude
I was riding my bike this morning, in the pseudo-rain (turned not so pseudo for a few moments), feeling a little bit heavy of heart. And toward the end of the 30 minutes, I remembered this song, which is another of my favorites from my childhood church experience:
Your steadfast love extends to the heavens
Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds
Your righteousness is like majestic mountains
And your wisdom, like the depth of the sea
And you come to me;
Filling my heart with your lovingkindness
I find my peace in the shadow of your wings
I eat my fill from abundance in your household
And I drink from the streams of rejoicing
You are my king.
I may update this post with a link to an audio file of my singing it, if I can pull it off. Because the music is beautiful.
